The local community will also benefit financially from the Sippersfeld wind farm from this year onwards. As Imsbach lies within a radius of 2.5 kilometers of the Bocksrück, the operator voluntarily pays the municipality 0.2 cents per kilowatt hour generated without any consideration. This is estimated to bring Imsbach 2,800 euros per year. The municipal council unanimously approved the corresponding contract.
The partially damaged floor in the community hall needs to be renovated. The Buhrmann joinery from Winnweiler was commissioned by the council to reglue the joints in the floor for around 770 euros (according to the quote). Council member Thomas Fischer offered to sand and oil the floor on a voluntary basis with the help of other council members.
Mayor Oliver Krupp announced that the costs for the three-day mineral fair in terms of set-up and dismantling, electricity, etc. were now so high that the municipality had to charge the mining association a flat rate. The council agreed on a lump sum of 900 euros. Rent for the community hall will continue to be waived.
Krupp also announced that the speed display at the entrance to the town would be installed in April. In addition, five dog toilets had been purchased instead of three due to special conditions. Council member David Kuntz announced that the Imsbach sports club was looking for people interested in playing table tennis. Games would be played in the community hall.
